<Summary>
This item generated very little discussion. I found this unsurprising,
as the item is about ways - most of them Machiavellian and not approved
by the standard - in which access can be gained to the private members
of classes.

There was some off topic discussion: praise (justified IMHO) for Paul
Grenyer's efforts in keeping these projects going, and what books people
have in there collection.

The on topic discussion was about the only legal way in which a class'
private members can be gained access to - i.e. by specialising a member
function template. The discussion centred on whether this is
implementation leakage or a design choice.
</Summary>

- Mark.
